Welcome to Quark Community

Quark is an open source software used mainly as a digital currency that employs multiple cryptographic algorithms, which unlike fiat/national currencies provides the platform for a decentralised monetary system.

Quark was launched in 2013 with the belief that the control of money should not be in the hands of the few, but in the hands of the many. This forum tries to build on that ideology by distributing Quarks in the hands of those that are active in the community. By posting quality articles and contributing to general discussions you will earn Quarks.

So you have to create a virtual machine live from the usb to use that right ? So that means you must use resources to run both the virtual machine and the wallet. I am searching for a method to run the wallet itself from the USB without the need of an OS to be be runed in parallel. If that is possible let me know. For example to make and usb stick with the wallet that will run on windows machines.

You will need a OS to operate the wallet, whether the OS is a custom made linux version or windows/mac you can simply specify the location of the configuration folder. First you have to move your quark directory to you USB lets say G:/quark and then you open the wallet by using:
    Code:
    quarkcoin-qt.exe -datadir=G:\quark
    for windows
    or
    Code:
    ./quark-qt -data-dir=G:/quark
    for linux

A USB stick that can run the wallet on any machine using X OS it's indeed a good idea
